Mrs. Connelly was born and raised in Scotland, moving to the United States to work as a nanny when she was 19 years old. She has an Associates Degree in Education, as well as a Bachelors Degree. She is so excited to be a part of your children’s educational journey!

We have moved on to our Unit 3 theme this week; “My Community at Work.” We will discuss comprehension strategies, continue to develop our vocabulary, and work on fluency. Phonics and decoding this week will be a based on long “a.”

Creating and reading a Venn Diagram. Identifying a.m., p.m., noon, midnight, and a dozen/half dozen. Adding three two-digit numbers. Reading a thermometer to the nearest 2 degrees Fahrenheit.
