Clubs and Activities

95%

of Genesis Preparatory School students participate in extracurricular activities!

Clubs

Clubs are an important part of Genesis life, allowing students to pursue their unique interest and further their personal education outside the classroom.

Our current clubs/activities include: Art Club, Sports Club, Interact Club, Student Council, and Science Club. Some of our previous clubs include: Math Counts, Yearbook, Spanish Club, Guitar Club, Pep Band, Chess Club, Video Club, Handbells, Cheerleading, Running Club, Improv Comedy Club.

Community Service

The culture of Genesis Preparatory School is one of service, and we require our Upper Division students to complete at least 150 hours of community service during their four years of high school.
Most students participate in an average of 300 hours of community service during their high school years. We encourage the commitment to community service begin early and extend throughout a student’s years at Genesis; as such, we offer them multiple opportunities such as our Interact Club to serve the community throughout their school years.

Fine Arts

Music, drama, and art are a key part of the culture of Genesis Prep.
Students participate in many dramatic and music performances each year. Each spring GPS stages a musical where students assist in every aspect of production. Music is also a key part of GPS's culture. All musical classes perform in concert for the student body and the public. Additionally, the Genesis Hand Bell Choir receives more invitations to perform than can be scheduled - we've even performed in France and England!
