Our annual Thanksgiving Celebration was another success. The Pre K II classes, lead by their teachers, performed the snake dance on the soccer field to remember the native Americans who gave help to the pilgrims.

After the snake dance, our Pre K I class came and performed Pow Wow by Jack Hartman. Our final performance of the day was the 1st grade class. They presented a play to represent the first Thanksgiving.

The Thanksgiving play is a tradition that goes back to the very first 1st grade class at Genesis Elementary School. It was written and performed 38 years ago and has been performed every year since. What a wonderful tradition.
