The goals of all three accrediting organizations are to provide children with the best education possible to advance excellence in education worldwide so that every student is prepared for success. GPS shares these goals and is honored to be a part of all three professional educational agencies.

The Florida Council of Independent Schools (FCIS) evaluates and accredits independent schools throughout the state of Florida. It is one of the nation’s largest organizations of independent schools and represents over 73,000 students in 159 member schools. The Council assures that each school maintains high standards and independence of character without political , financial, or bureaucratic pressures. The Council is a member of the National Association of Independent Schools (NAIS), an affiliate of the Council of American Private Education (CAPE), and a founding member of the Florida Association of Academic Nonpublic Schools (FAANS). The Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS), probably the best known accrediting organization in the Southeast, has the primary mission of improving education by recognizing and encouraging the quality of a school through its accreditation process. Its central purpose is the improvement of education in the South and other geographical areas through the process of accreditation.
